  25. Stuart, to my knowledge our ImageFX package is the only package that will
  26. allow you to use any arbitrary sized kernal for convolutions.  The ImageFX
  27. menu for this only allows 3x3 or 5x5 kernals, but the files are simple text
  28. files that you can change to make any size you wish with.  You can even
  29. specify separate Red Green and Blue channels if needed.  As I recall the
  30. Kernals do need to be an odd number by an odd number.  You'd want a 9x9 or
  31. a 11x11 kernal to get close to what you want.  I'd also recommend examining
  32. our Gaussian blur (Severe) for a very nice uniform blur.
